Jeremy and his new car

It was funny, I turn around and there is Jeremy sitting in the race car. There was even room by me on the park bench, he chose to sit there. :0)

Monte going to a fire

Enjoying the fruits of her labor

These apples were delicious, very crisp and sweet!

I'll pick that one

Lillian was very selective in her apple picking.

Monte Appleseed

Monte picking an apple at the Farm.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away

Today we had fun going to an apple orchard and picking some gala apples. Ever since Grant was small, he eats a apple in bed right before he falls asleep. It is funny because if I forget, you can here him, "Mom, wheres my apple?" He got spoiled when he stayed at Grandma Sugar's house. She would cut the apple for him and then give it to him in bed.

Lillian running in heels

Lilly was running everywhere in these heels. Don't you just love the slip and belt look?

Puppeteers

I was able to get a private showing to "Scary Forest, and the Turtle who was late for dinner." It was opening night and Grant and Monte did a wonderful job!

Puppet Show

Meet the characters : T-Rex A.K.A "Mr. T", Spike, Stripey, Hanger, and Slow Poke

Mom and Lillian

Unlike her brothers, Lillian preferred being carried in water that was above one foot.

Swim Day!

Why Jeremy is studying hard at school, I took the kids to the pool. It is rough, I know. One benefit about our apartment is we can use the pool whenever we want. It is nice to go and relax and let the kids swim. Everybody is happy, especially me. (They sleep really well, on swim days)
Lillian making me "Soup."
After spending forever in the deep water and holding Lillian the whole time, I said lets go over to the other pool so Lilly could swim. Surprisingly, Grant and Monte as well as Lilly had a lot of fun. They had a bin of toys, so the kids had fun pretending to make me food. I especially liked the soup.

Lillian

Lillian enjoyed this part of the pool. It is a foot deep. Her bathtub is deeper than that, but she loved it.

Lilly working on her tan

Backwards Cannonball

Monte attempting a backwards cannonball.

Monte's Dive/ Cannonball

Boys will be boys

Monte's CANNONBALL!!

Monte would not stop doing these. It was funny to watch.

Grant's CANNONBALL!!

Grant loves doing cannonballs off the wall of the pool.

Canadian Geese

These Geese just roam everywhere around here. I have been letting the kids feed them bread. Woops. Now I see signs all over that say don't feed the geese.

Cheese

Today Lillian wanted me to keep on taking her picture. Here she is saying "cheese."

Pink Glasses

Bean is so excited that she can wear the same glasses as her doll wears.

Dressup

Bean decided on going everywhere today in this little number.

Sword/ Stick fight

"G" and Goose love having sword fights. I am surprised nobody has ever got hurt.

A knight in shining armor

Grant likes to play like he is a knight in shining armor. However, he doesn't like the armor.

Mom and Goose

Grant wanted to take a picture of Monte and I. When he was ready to take the picture he told Monte to smile as hard as he could. I think it is so funny.

Jeremy and Rachel's 8 Year Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 8 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it, time flies!! Jeremy had one of the girls from our ward come and babysit. It was nice to celebrate without the kids. We have had a wonderful 8 years together. Filled with a lot of happiness and four beautiful children. I am grateful that we can be together forever, and I look forward to many more happy years.

The Christus

This was really neat. This Christus stands in the visitor center at the Hill Cumorah. It is similar to the one in SLC. The difference is in this one the Sacred Grove is in the background, rather than the heavens. We were able to show the children the movie Joseph. It is a powerful movie, and neat to see after we saw the Sacred Grove. Grant was especially into the movie. Ever since Grant was little he has loved to here stories of Joseph Smith. So this was very exciting to him.

Hill Cumorah

This is the hike down from the top of the hill.

The hike to the top

Grant was so excited this whole trip. He kept asking me to take pictures of him everywhere.

Hill Cumorah

This is at the top of the Hill Cumorah. It is beautiful here and so green!

Boys in the Sacred Grove

Monte and Grant found these leaves. They want to send these leaves along with some acorns they found back to grandparents.

Sacred Grove

Today we were able to take the kids to the Sacred Grove. Grant really loved it and commented on how he could feel the spirit. It is an amazing place, right when you walk in you know that it is a sacred place. Monte was interested for about 5 minutes, and then he wanted to catch the frogs he saw in the trees.

Monte

Monte loves Jeremy's old fishing hat and insisted on wearing it all day. I can't believe we have had to wear a jacket on several days. I thought it was August.

Jeremy's 1st Day of School!!

Jeremy started school today. He is excited to get going. However, he wasn't very excited that I made him take his 1st day picture. Yet alone put it on the blog.

Food Storage

I have a hard time looking at this picture, it drives me nuts!!!!!!!!

Amherst, New York Home

Mom, here's what my apartment looks like! It is actually not all that bad. Well besides the food storage under my bed. It drives me crazy!!! I hate things under the bed.
