New Logo

Here is Jeremy's new logo. Do you like it?

The Frog

I found this poem in Grant's room and had a little chuckle.

The Frog
By: Grant
Once there was a fat frog,
he lived in a log.
Then one day he sensed a fly.
He was very sly,
to catch the fly.
After that he went for his daily swim,
and then he met his girlfriend Mim.

Robert H. Treman State Park- A Must See and Do

Robert H. Treman is one of my children's favorite places to go. Although, the water this time was only 68 degrees. The kids thought it was a bit chilly, but it didn't stop them. This place is beautiful and the perfect spot for kids.
Goose doing his cannonball!

There goes Granny!

Goose!
Bean trying to get the courage to get in the cold water.

Chief!

Chief trying to sneak a rock to throw.

Chief wanting so bad to follow in his brothers footsteps.

Bean and J freezing, but having so much fun!

Bean "diving" in.

Bean is quite the fish.

Goose was all smiles and in heaven!!!

GORGEOUS!!!

Chief didn't stay in the water too long. I don't think he was a fan of the cooler water.

Fallin in Love with Ithaca, NY

The first time we visited Ithaca, NY in 2007 I immediately fell in love. Rolling hills, a beautiful lake, waterfalls, hiking and biking trails and tons of outdoorsey things. The city of Ithaca sits on the southern shore of Cayuga Lake. On Saturday, my friend found this pizza joint called Jerlando's, we decided to try it. It was seriously delicious!!! Reminded me of the pizza they serve in New York City. Can't wait to go back!

This was a little waterfall on the side of the road near the pizza joint. Beautiful!

Outside of Robert H. Treman there is a fun park that the children like to play at.

Watkins Glenn

Watkins Glenn is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever seen.  It has 19 waterfalls and 200ft cliffs. Since we moved here in 2007 we have made it a tradition to go with our children on this hike once or twice a year. The hike is truly breathtaking! My camera can't quite capture the beauty of it all. After 5 years of going here, it never ceases to amaze me.

Chief loves the view from up top.

Chief found a hole in a rock that was full of water. How he manages to find these things, I don't know. :)

Chief loves daddy to swing him!

Do you see Chief? He's doing Superman on Jeremy's shoulders.

Checking out the trickling waterfall above him.

Chief and dad getting ready to walk through the trickling water.

Chief kept saying, "It's Cold."

For the most part Chief walked the entire time. At the end of the hike he needed a little rest, so dad carried him down for part of the way.

We are so happy to have such great friends to share adventures with!!!

Chief taking a little rest.
