Date Night Trap

This past weekend we went out with some friends to dinner and a movie. It was a lot of fun! We got home really late and I found this when I walked in the door.
Looks like Chief set a trap by the back door for Jer and I.
It was a close call for sure. ;)
Oh how I love this boy of mine and his creativity.

Buffalo Science Museum

For once we had a free Saturday with no plans. It was the perfect opportunity to go and visit the museum. It is nice to have a season pass and just go for a little bit here and there. Bean took her sweet friend Ella and they had fun roaming around. The kids all had a wonderful time and there were some really great exhibits. After the museum we headed to our favorite pizza joint near Jer's office. A fun and relaxing da

Computer Lab

The other day I had the opportunity to go and volunteer in the computer lab. It was especially fun to see Chief's class and watch him on the computer. He is never on the computer at home so I was impressed he knew how to use the mouse!

Chief is the Star Student

Despite the look on his face, Chief was the star student this past week in his kindergarten class. He got to make an All About Me Poster and was also the line leader all week. He loved that! As the star student you also get to lead the class every morning in the pledge and hold the flag. At the end of the week he was able to take home Casey the Cow, he thought that was pretty cool. Love you Chief!

Valentine Making

So this year I was a little disappointed. The kindergarten teachers aren't allowing any treats to be brought in on valentines. :(
They are having a tiny party with rice krispie treats and juice and that's it. The children are allowed to give a valentine they just can't include a treat. So here Chief is filling out his valentines. He lucked out this year and only has 17 children in his class.

Clark and a Horse

Toad cracks me up. Lately he has been putting a blankey inbetween his legs and pretending it's a horse. It's so funny! Giddy-up!

Wrestling Tournament

A couple of Saturday's ago we went and watched G's all day wrestling match. It was forever long, but so worth it to watch G. He came in 1st place at the ECIC JV Tournament. We are proud of you G!!
The other 2 boys pictured below are a few other "mormon" boys that we know from the stake. It was fun to see them at the tournament. Congratulations boys!

Frozen Birthday Theme and Lady turns 3!

It's hard to believe, our little lady is 3! Lady can be found singing, dancing, pretending to be a princess and mothering Toad. Her hair and spirit are bigger than she is! She's not afraid to try new foods and her daddy is her world.
Happy Birthday Lady. We sure do love you!

Lady loves the movie and soundtrack from Disney's Frozen. So when deciding how to make her cake it was easy. Frozen it was! I found a package of Frozen characters at Target for 4 bucks. I threw those on top and pretty much called it good! Lady was thrilled and LOVED her cake. During the day I would find her sticking her finger in the frosting and having a little taste. She told us it was, "Soooo delicious." Love this girl of mine.

Birthday Crown

After breakfast, Lady got bathed and dressed and then opened up her birthday crown. She LOVED it and wore it the entire day. Nobody was allowed to touch it.

Lady's Birthday Breakfast

Lady woke up to a simple breakfast. She had pancakes and orange juice in a fancy cup with a straw.
