Name Change

Grant has decided to change his middle name. I have noticed that all of his homework has this name on it.

We Thank Thee Oh God For A Prophet

My mom called us last night and let us know that our beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley passed away. I loved his energy and zest for life! I loved when he would hold up his cane and wave. I can only imagine when he left this earth how sweet of a reunion he was having with his dear companion Marjorie. I loved seeing them together. You could tell that they were in love, by the way they treated each other. I am so happy that families can be together forever!

Monte and Grant like to tape Lillian's dress up rings to their ears. If you look closely at Monte's right ear you can see his "earing".

GI Joe

It always cracks me up to see Monte in his GI Joe outfit.

Labeling People

Tonight we had a lesson on showing love in our home. The kids thought that one way we could show love is by giving each other compliments. We wrote compliments on paper and then taped them on everyone. This was a really fun activity.

Great Tune

My Rhapsody Playlist

I love this song, but is it appropriate for our video? I wish you could hear the whole song, but it only allows me to play 30 seconds. Do you like this song or Upside Down by Jack Johnson? Ummm, there are so many choices, it is just finding that right one.

Best Buddies

Monte loves his little sister.

Lillian and Harvey

Lillian is missing her Uncle Harvey.

Here Fishy, Fishy

This is my little niece Emily. She was so proud when she caught her fish. If you look closely you can see it. Emily keeps all the family laughing.

Mrs. Lazy

I love this picture of Lillian taken back in 2006.

Update

We just need to create an online profile as well as finish some portfolios. Once this is completed we will be able to go public. Then the waiting game begins....
Jeremy and I are working on trying to adopt, for those of you who may be wondering.

We are still alive

Well just a update we are nearing completion of the adoption paperwork. YIPEE!!! Our social worker is coming over on Friday to tell us what we have left to do. Hopefully we are nearing completion. Jeremy and I need to make a video set to music of our family for birth parents to see. I am in need of suggestions of music that I could use for the movie. I have a few ideas, but for the most part nothing that seems right, so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know. This will help out a ton! Thanks everyone!!

Where's Winter?

The snow is all gone, and we are enjoying record breaking temperatures. For the past two days it has been in the 60's! It has felt absolutely wonderful. It has been so frigid that this was a wonderful surprise. We were even able to get the bikes out and go for a little ride. Well it was nice while it lasted, tomorrow were back to cold.

Say NO to Crack

For Christmas Dad gave Jeremy a bucket of Crack Spackle. Which consisted of a long sleeve shirt that was 3 inches longer than the normal shirt. It is made for construction workers that bend over at work and expose their plumbers crack. Hence the name Crack Spackle. Although, Jeremy doesn't have a crack problem like his father the bucket of Crack Spackle worked great. There is no chance of that crack showing while using this amazing product. Thanks Dad for giving Jeremy this wonderful gift. We were wondering if you ordered one or two?

Looking Back

Jeremy and I headed to the Narrows in Zions to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was a blast! As we hiked the water just kept getting deeper and deeper. Some parts were even deep enough to swim. When we take a trip back to Utah I would love to take the kids here.

Girls and Boy Night Out
