Happy Halloween!!!!

Grant was pretty excited about being a Mad Scientist this year. Hopefully we won't have a problem getting all the green out of his hair!

Little Red Riding Hood

Cutest Hobo I've ever seen!

These three got so much candy, and for some strange reason went to bed with belly aches.
Little Red Riding Hood with her littlest Princess friend.

We started off Halloween morning with some Count Dracula cereal. As if we need more sugar....

Trunk or Treat at the Church

On Friday our church did a Trunk or Treat. There was also dinner and games for the kids. The kids had a lot of fun, and especially liked the haunted house! To top it all off we couldn't have asked for better weather, the kids didn't even need jackets. Unusual for Buffalo!

It was fun to see how people decorated around and in their cars.

Halloween Fun at the School

Little Red Riding Hood during the Kindergarten parade.

Goose with his classroom buddies enjoying donut holes and apple cider.

After all the games were over Mrs. Hallmark read the children a Halloween story to calm them down.

Pumpkin Carving

On Thursday night we carved our pumpkins, the kids have looked forward to this all week!

Leave it to Grant to try and stick his head in the pumpkin. This boy is always joking around!!

Monte gutting the pumpkin, Lillian wouldn't have anything to do with it. It completely grossed her out!

Delicious Bouquet

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the sweet surprise!!! It was sooooo delicious!!!

Remembering Maxwell

Happy Birthday Maxwell! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. You taught me so many lessons in your short time here on earth and I continue to learn so much from the five days we were blessed to spend together. I will never forget holding you in my arms and feeling your overwhelming spirit. You have made me see things in an entirely different perspective than I once had. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to grow and learn. You are always in my heart and I am so grateful for my knowledge of forever families. I know without a doubt that I will one day in fact get to see and hold you again. I am grateful for a Savior who made it possible to live as forever families and who has blessed Jeremy and I with so much peace. We love you Maxwell.

I made a mistake when I made the video. At the end it is supposed to say Canada and Mexico and he also passed away on November 2, 2005 not 2006. Woops, I really messed up!

Fun in the Leaves

It was so funny to watch Lilly plug her nose everytime she went under the leaves.

Little Miss Lilly being so sneaky!!

The kids all had such a great time playing in the leaves.

Goose loves his bug cage, and found some great bugs hiding in the leaves.

Happy Birthday to You my NINE Year Old!

Grant absolutely loves math, basketball and always has his nose in a book. Grant's top nine books are:
Moby Dick
Jack Stalwart Books
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
The Swiss Family Robinson
Journey to the Center of the Earth
The Wind and the Willows
The Red Badge of Courage
Gulliver's Travel's
Robin Hood

Grant once told me,"Mom,if you didn't have me you would probably never laugh." Grant you are constantly making us all laugh! With your dancing, singing Opera, performing and jokes. Happy NINTH Birthday Grant! We love you and all the laughter you bring into our home!

Grant woke up to breakfast in bed. He requested 1 banana, waffles with half syrup, half raspberry jam and hotcocoa with 22 mini marshmellows.
I can't believe I have a NINE year old!!! Time flies!

Make a Wish!!!

For his birthday Grant wanted a basketball cake. So glad he picked something easy!!! I can handle a circle!

I love these boys and am so happy that my kids have such great friends!

Thanks Ethan for the Evidence Kit, I love it!!!!

Tonight for fun we had a nerf gun war. I have to admit it was a little scary because the kids are so sneaky and would find the best hiding places to shoot from. Minus getting shot in the face once, it was fun!

All By Myself!

In the Summer I tried teaching Lilly how to tye her shoes. However, she really didn't seem to care. Today she came home and said, "Mom can we practice tying shoes?" I said, "Sure." After two tries she had it down. Monte showed her how to even do a double knot. Now she can't stop tying. Sheesh in two days she lost her first tooth and learned to tye shoes. She is really growing up!

Lillian loves to draw and color. She especially loves to draw pictures of her with her friend Lydia. I love how she sounds out her name and spells it... Liteu

Bat and Spider Mustaches

Thanks Grandma "Tractor" for the stickers. We decided to make bat and spider mustaches. These two crack me up!!

Fall Colors in the Grove

Last Saturday we were in Palmyra so we visited the Sacred Grove and The Hill Cumorah. The kids love to visit these two places; we are fortuante to live only 90 minutes away. The Grove and Joseph Smith's Farm are always gorgeous no matter the season.

I love that Lilly puts her own bunny ears on!

Lots of leaves in the Sacred Grove have already fallen; which makes for a great view of the beehives. The kids had fun counting them!
