Finally an Update!

Jeremy and the kids made Oliver and my homecoming so sweet. They got us flowers, made us a welcome home sign, cleaned the house, all the kids wrote me a note and there was even dinner on the table for me when I got home at 11:00 p.m.! I missed them all so much!

We made it back to New York and are so happy to be home! Oliver is such a joy and was absolutely perfect on his first plane ride. We just love him and are grateful for our birthmother Aubrey for her courage, strength and selflessnes.
Oliver will fit right in. He is quite the little water bug. He absolutely loves his bath.

More cousins! There are 29 cousins in all so far. They range from ages 17 all the way down to utero.

Grandma and Grandpa "Sugar" holding their newest grandson.

My sister in law put together such a cute basket for Oliver. Thank you!!!

This is my niece Meg. Isn't she beautiful? She is growing up so fast! It seems like just yesterday when I was holding her!

Family constantly was gathered around watching him so closely. Oliver is loved by many.

I love these pictures of Grandma "Sugar" and Oliver.

The kids love visiting Grandpa "Tractor" at work.

While in Utah the kids like to go to the cemetary and visit their brother Maxwell's grave. I can't help, but think that little Oliver has been playing in heaven with him for the past four years.

Grandma "Tractor" with our kids. It was so good to see and spend time with her.

I love this picture of Oliver. This is exactly how he was in all of his ultrasounds. Always had his little hand up to his face.

We just love Christa one of our family friends. She is the sweetest lady ever. My kids would often times walk across the street and visit Christa. I think most of the time they were looking for cookies; which she always had an ample supply of. They also loved to put the wooden ramp down her stairs and race the matchbox cars. Christa has visited and held all my babies. We just love her and are so glad she met our little Oliver!

Look at all those boys, and one is missing! There is definatly not a shortage of boy cousins on the one side of the family!

Some of the girl cousins and Oliver on one side of the family. (2 little infant girls missing from the picture) One was born January 26th and the other is expected to arrive in a few more weeks! Fun to have cousins so close in age!

Cousin little R was so cute and while holding Oliver said, "Oliver has such shiny eyes."

The kids get plenty of times to feed their brother since he eats every 2 1/2 hours around the clock.

"Mom, really do we get to keep him forever and ever and ever?"

How could she resist? Oliver is so so sweet!

Proud Grandparents!

So happy to be together!

Just the boys....

Grant was thrilled to be the first sibling to feed Oliver. The kids constantly want to hold, feed and sit by our newest little man.

Oliver looks so tiny in Paca Tractor's arms.

Oliver did great on his 80 minute car ride "home." We drove from Ogden to Springville and he didn't cry once!

Getting ready to leave the hospital. Oliver was not liking the carseat at this point.

We made sure to get lots and lots of footprints.

Father and Son taking a little nap in the hospital.

First Presidency Statement on Haiti

Our hearts are filled with sadness as we have watched the suffering in Haiti in the wake of the devastating earthquake. We turn to the example of Jesus Christ who reached out to “lift up the hands which hang down” and “strengthen the feeble knees.” We are keenly aware that many in America are dealing with economic challenges caused by the recession. However, we are appealing to members to donate to Church Humanitarian Services as their means allow in order to help our Haitian brothers and sisters. Many have already contributed and others are anxious to do so. Money is not the only need in Haiti. People are frightened, bewildered, and wholly uncertain about their future. In addition to what people can do in helping with food, water and shelter, there needs to be a calming influence over that troubled nation. We invite our people everywhere to supplicate God for a spirit of calm and peace among the people as urgent aid and reconstruction efforts continue.

Still Here

Well I am still in Utah. I was planning on leaving today to head back home, but unfortunatly we are still waiting on paperwork to get completed. It looks like I will be back home next Thursday.
Oliver is doing great! I just love him, even though his nights and days are completly mixed up. :) We just took him to the doctor for a checkup yesterday and he is gaining about an ounce everyday! As far as pictures go, I have lots, but I am unable to upload them because I am not using my computer. So in about a week I will have lots of pictures to share.

Oliver George is Safe and Sound

Oliver George came into the world today at 2:34 p.m. he weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches tall. We are so grateful for Aubrey and will continue to pray for her and her family. Jeremy and I just love her with all of our hearts. It was a pretty incredible experience to watch Oliver come into this world. We are so grateful that he arrived safe and sound.

Jeremy and I are eternally grateful for our birthmother Aubrey, Oliver is quite a little miracle and so very precious.

Perfect in every way.....

Two handsome boys!

Three of the most wonderful people......

Aubrey holding baby Oliver.

Oliver received his first haircut today in the hospital. We taped his cut hair to a card for a keepsake.

If you look closely you can see his light fuzzy eye brows.

Oliver loved holding onto my finger. He has quite the grip.

Because of strict hospital rules Jeremy wasn't allowed to go into the nursery for Oliver's first bath. However, he did get to watch from outside the window.

Oliver absolutely loved getting his hair washed!

His lungs work quite nicely!

Aubrey was fortunate to have ultrasounds at every doctor appointment throughout her entire pregnancy. We always laughed because during every ultrasound Oliver's hands were always up to his little face, making it hard to get a good picture. It is funny because in order to keep his little hands away from his face we have to wrap him up tight like a little burrito.

I love his big feet!

Oliver's first picture.

The c-section went perfectly, I was amazed at how fast it went. In fact it only took about 12 minutes!

Here is Aubrey right before her c-section. She is pretty much amazing, we just love her.
