Kisses

Lilly left me this sweet little note. "Her is a kis just for you" I especially loved how she attached a Hershey kiss.

FoOTbALL

Football Season!!! Goose is really starting to love football. It is fun to watch these boys of mine. They are the bestest of friends.

Oliver wants so badly to be outside playing football with his brothers and dad. Instead, he just sits at the door and watches. I love this boy.

Detached Ear Lobes and Teething

So far all of our kids have had detached ear lobes. Random, I know.

Oliver kept trying to bite my camera, so as he went to bite it I took a picture. He is getting his four top teeth all at once. Not much sleeping going on at our house. :)

Oliver's Paw

Jeremy and I can't get enough of Oliver's paw. Seriously it is the squishiest and most adorable little print.
This little boy of mine has some killer long lashes. Lucky Boy!! How come it's always the boys that get the long lashes? If you click on the picture you can seem them really well! The one eyes lashes are always stuck together because of his goopy tear duct.

Constitution

On Friday I found Lilly at the dinner table making a little book. I looked inside and this is what I found. I like how she wrote, "We the Kids"
If you want to read an excellent talk on the Constitution by Dallin H. Oaks you can check it out here.

Bad Habit

I have picked up a really bad habit. I finish the laundry, but then I just stack it on my bed post. It's awful and ends up just causing me more work, because then everything is a wrinkle ball!

Squishy

We can't get enough of Oliver's legs....

Oliver cracks me up. He kept putting this basket on his head and then taking it off. He got quite the kick out of it.

Seneca Lake

This last weekend I had the opportunity to go on a little retreat with the women in our Stake. It was wonderful!!!

These are the little cabins we stayed in.

The food was delicious and I have to say it was quite the treat to not have to cook or clean it up!

I also had the opportunity to visit the Palymra Temple with friends.

My Baby is 8 Months!

We are so blessed to have Oliver in our family. I love his perfect little 8 month profile. Oliver is very active. He loves to see if he can get away with climbing up the stairs and has done so on several occasions with me behind him of course. He constantly is saying Da-Da which is seriously the cutest thing ever! He has turned into a really fast crawler and loves to put anything and everything into his mouth. This month he especially likes to eat peas, sweet potatoes and green beans. Of course he still loves his bottle and loves to bathe. We love you Oliver!

Since Oliver was born he has had a closed tear duct in his right eye. The doctor says it is very common. It doesn't seem to bother him a bit, but it is usually red and goopy. We are hoping it clears up on his own.

I love his chubby paw and wrist wrinkle.

I have a hard time finding shoes that fit. His feet seem so thick! :)

Oliver's hair blowing in the wind....

Oliver puts absolutely everything in his mouth. We have to watch this little boy like crazy!!

Back to School Dinner

For our special back to school dinner we had: Chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad and carrots with dip. Tomorrow I think we're having pancakes.

Thanks Stacie for the apple idea! I use this idea all of the time.

Waiting

Oliver waited so patiently at the door for his brothers and sister to get home.

He got bored of that so we headed to the bus stop to wait for them there. Grant, Monte and Lilly were thrilled to see Oliver. They kept kissing him and telling him that they loved and missed him soo soo much!

Here comes the bus....

Lilly got off the bus and was so excited to tell me about her 1st day of first grade. She told me the names of the new kids that she met, she told me everyone who sat on her table, she told me the questions that the kids asked their Ideas teacher, she told me that one boy almost was sent to the principal's office, she told me about the plants in the classroom and how they need to remember to water them every day and she even told me all about her teacher Mrs. Walter's husband. When the boys got off the bus I asked how their day's were and they just said, "Good." Sheesh, I'm glad I got my girl!!!!

First Day of School

The kids were so excited to start school. I have loved the summer, but am excited to get back to some sort of a routine. Oliver took a 2 1/2 hour nap this morning. His naps in the summertime when the others were home were maybe 40 minutes. It probably felt so good to him to have peace and quiet! Today he turned 8 months! More pictures and updates of Oliver to come! We look forward to an exciting school year!

My 4th Grader....

My 3rd Grader....

My 1st Grader......

She carried quite the load....

Walking to the bus we always walk over fallen crabapples.

Lilly's bag was quite heavy with all her school supplies, she could barely walk.....

Lilly was especially excited to use her new lunch box.

Waiting for the bus to come....

While waiting for the bus Goose spotted an insect. I hope it didn't go to school with him.

There off bright and early, 7:45 to be exact.....

Finding Classes

Lilly was so cute and insisted that I walk her to her class. It made my day! The boys on the other hand told me they could find them on their own.

Lilly with her 1st grade teacher Mrs. Walter.

Grant was so excited to see one of his friends in his class.

Here is Goose in his new 3rd grade class room. I snuck a picture from the doorway. I'm crazy I know.
