Lilly was due February 29th 2004. Which so happened to be Leap Year. She decided to come on the 24th of February instead. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches tall. She was born with a tiny bit of brown hair and bluish gray eyes. I started going into labor at 4:00 p.m. and delivered her at 8:50 p.m. I remember her father and brothers coming to the hospital with 5 Lily flowers the day she was born. I am so grateful for Lillian. We joke and say that she came out talking! There is NEVER a dull moment when Bean is around. We are so blessed to have her in our lives. She is a excellent reader, writer, cleaner and organizer. She is also very sweet and thoughtful. Often times I find little hand written notes around the home written by our sweet girl. I am so thankful I have a GIRL! We love you Lilly, Happy Birthday!!!
For Lilly's birthday we made a Hello Kitty cake. It seemed like an easy task and turned into a disaster. I didn't have time to freeze the cake and then frost it. When I went to frost it it went all crumbly. I decided to mix some sourcream with the frosting to make it spread easier. Yeh, don't try that.

Make a wish! Notice the hole in the cake, or the torn apart red bow? Yeh,her brothers did that.

A little over a year ago Lilly started asking if she could get a violin and start taking lessons. I was hesitant because of a few "little" factors: the cost and the time commitment. Well for the past year that is all Lilly talks about. She draws pictures of her playing a violin, she pretends to practice and when Alison plays in church she comments on how she wants to play just like her. So we decided to get her very own violin, we found one on Ebay for $50 bucks. Lilly starts her lessons next week, she couldn't be happier!!!

7 years ago at 8:50 p.m. Lillian Mary was born. Tonight at 8:50 I said, "Lilly come over here I want to hold you, like I did when you were first born." Lilly darted over to her daddy and snuggled him instead.

I found Lilly's dinner mostly in the freezer aisle at Walmart. Good news is it was super easy and the bad news is it was gross. For dinner she wanted: Cheese Ravioli without sauce, chicken nuggets dipped in Ketchup, strawberries and once again chocolate milk with a straw.Lilly couldn't be happier with her feast that she designed. The rest of the fam is just happy her birthday "feast" is only once a year. :)
