On the Farm

Sometimes I wish we lived on a farm. My kids are all so happy when we go and visit the farm! Chief loved feeding the donkey, goats, pigs and chickens. However, he was a little bit upset when the goat nipped his finger!

Happy 4th of July!

Fourth of July is one of my most favorite holidays of the year. Our tradition is to go camping for the week and watch the fireworks over Quaker Lake. This year we had a change of plans since we have a newborn and I'm pregnant. Didn't think camping would be the best of ideas. We had a great time watching fireworks and grilling. Chief was so funny, he would say, "Mom, the fireworks are working!" He loved them! I was worried that Adelaide would not like the noise, but she was mesmerized and loved them as well! The children all watched the fireworks from the roof of our car. I always make sure I have lots of treats to snack on. Those sweet treats always consist of war heads, pixie sticks, lemonheads, lollipops, red, white and blue bubble gum, Bit-O-Honey, Necco's, starbursts, candy lipsticks,
salt-water taffy and chick-o-sticks. We are defiantly looking forward to getting back to our camping tradition!
Made a fruit pizza was inspired by my friend Gantrie. :)

Swimmers!

Chief and Bean went and swam at my friend Alison's home the other afternoon. They had a great time! She snapped these pictures of my two little swimming blondies. Thanks Alison!!!

Prego

My friend Carolyn snapped this picture when I was around 29 weeks. Thanks friend!

Adelaide Eats Cereal for the 1st Time

Today we gave Miss Adelaide Pearl cereal for the first time! She doesn't know what to think about it! She actually did ok and I was surprised she didn't gag. She did make some pretty funny faces. Hopefully, she will start eating better so that she can sleep better at night. This little girl is seriously so sweet. I just love her.

Big Brother

Goose is such a wonderful big brother! The other afternoon he took Adelaide and Chief downstairs into the storage room. He then built a fort using lots of blankets and when I found him all three of them were laying on a bed of blankets inside the fort.

Pregnancy Update

Still supposed to be taking it easy. However, I did go to church yesterday. I had to get out of the house and I figured I am sitting the whole time anyways. My doctor was fine with it. As long as I am not chasing little Chief around and doing any cleaning etc...she said I am good. I went and saw my doctor today. The plan is to try and make it to 36 weeks. At 36 weeks they will do an amnio to see if the babies lungs are developed. If the babies lungs are developed they will do a C-section. If the babies lungs are not developed we will just take a day at a time. Of course if I have any changes or contractions I go to the hospital asap and they will more than likely just do the C-section. So in the meantime I will just continue to eat and grow. :) On Wednesday I head back to the hospital for a amniotic fluid check, ultra sound and non-stress test and then I head back to my other doctor on Friday for my shot to prevent pre-term labor. I am definitely not going to miss all of these doctor appointments! I am getting so excited to meet this little person!!!

Rainy Day Games

We have got lots and lots of rain lately. Which has made for some really good board game days. Goose and his friend Jack are always up for board games. Jack is moving to Ohio in a few weeks. We are going to miss him!

Outside Lover

Little Miss Adelaide is completely content with being outside. She loves it. Goose and her have a special little bond going. Today Goose told me that he was taking Adelaide outside while he searched for treasures with his metal detector. Adelaide loved watching her brother search for hidden treasures, while sitting in her Bumbo.

See Adelaide in the corner? :)

Puddle Rider

We have got quite a bit of rain lately. Chief loves it! He especially loves to drive his bike through the puddles! Jeremy and I took him to the park the other night and just sat and watched. He rode his  bike through the puddles for over an hour. He was in heaven! He would speed through and say, "HEE HAW." It was hysterical. I love my little puddle rider.
