It is hard to believe that Toad is already 6 months old. He is a tank and so adorable! He has the best cheeks. I just love to kiss them! He is still so slobbery and is always chewing on his fists. He recently tried rice-cereal and isn't a fan. Toad has turned into the happiest baby! He is very smiley and when I get him out of bed in the morning he has a grin from ear to ear. He pretty much melts my heart. Love him!

Chief is a Sunbeam!
On Sunday, January 5th Chief no longer went to nursery at church. It's official we have a Sunbeam!
When he left
Sink Sitter
This is where I found Chief this am. "Mom, get out I'm taking a bath."
I gave him a few matchbox cars and he was set! He played forever in that tiny space. I figured he can't drown so all is well!
Clark Tries Rice Cereal
On January 9th Clark tried rice cereal for the first time. He wasn't a fan. I will keep trying it and hopefully he will start to like it.
Vacation to Palmyra
A few weeks ago Jeremy and I took the children to Palmyra for a mini vacation. It worked out great because I was able to go to the Temple Friday evening, while Jeremy swam with the kids. Saturday morning, Jeremy then took his turn at the Temple while I stayed back at the hotel and hung out at the pool. It worked out perfectly and the children LOVED swimming in the dead of the winter!

Forever Long Post
I just did a forever long post. To see it all you will have to keep clicking on older posts at the bottom of the page.
Merry Christmas 2013
It turned out to be a white Christmas this year! Love that! Loving this crazy time in our families life. I know that these little ones grow up way too fast! Chief is by far my most animated child. Which makes birthday and Christmas so much fun!! He is thrilled with anything and everything that he gets. This year he LOVED his woopie cushion, wooden top and pig on a motorcycle. When he sat on Santa's lap he asked for a skateboard. When he opened his present from Santa it was a skateboard. He yelled, "Santa Listened!" It was the cutest thing ever! He has been skating around my home all day. He is so coordinated and I am sure he will have it mastered in no time.
The Elders spent the majority of the day with our family. They were here for breakfast. We had wassail, orange juice and a breakfast casserole with potoatoes, eggs, bacon and fresh salsa. I was planning on making cinnamon rolls, but it didn't happen. Santa also left the Elders a box of oranges and a stocking. They stayed until about noon and then came back later and spent the rest of the evening with our family. They were able to call home and Skype with their families. Elder Hansen's family sent him a short video clip to watch of their family at Thanksgiving as well as a short clip of his little sister singing at the Christmas concert at school. When it was over Grant turned to me and said, "Mom, when I go on my mission make sure you send me a Christmas video like that!" It was fun to meet Elder Hansen's family back in good ole Idaho through Skype. After they chatted with their families we munched on snacks and leftovers and played some games. Elder Hansen even took some time with Lillian and helped her with her paint by number. She loved that! It is hard to believe that I will have a missionary in 5 years. So crazy how fast time flies! We are so grateful for this day and for the opportunity we had to spend it with the Elders and our little family. We feel so blessed and are grateful for this day and the time we have had to reflect on the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas!
