Happy Halloween 2014

I LOVE Halloween. When I told Goose that today he said, "Mom, you love every holiday!" It's true. I am a sucker for traditions and spending time with my family.  Dressing up in costume is a lot of fun and I love that my best friend "Bert" goes along with whatever I come up with year after year. He's the best. The night before our Trunk or Treat he took all 6 children to Goodwill and found his costume. He told me that I needed a break. Love that about him. I couldn't ask for a better husband, father or best friend. Thanks "Bert".

Sharing the Goods

 We were all a bit worried Halloween would be freezing cold. However, it ended up being a lovely evening. A light rain here and there, but not cold or windy. Bean came home with over 300 pieces of candy. Her really good friend up the street injured her foot and is unable to walk and trick or treat.  When Bean walked in the door she dumped her candy out and divided it up. I asked what she was doing and she told me since her friend couldn't trick or treat that she was going to give her half of her stuff. Bean is such a sweetheart and so thoughtful.

Chief's Preschool Halloween Party

I had the opportunity to help out at Chief's preschool Halloween Party. We absolutely love his teachers Ms. Courtney and Ms. Susan. They are incredible and so much fun! We played several games, decorated cookies, had crackers, cheese and fruit, read books and went Trick or Treating to the local businesses. Chief was so excited when I told him I was going to his class with him. He said, "Mary Poppins gets to come with me!" Love him!
