We arrived in the Outer Banks Sunday afternoon. We couldn't check into the beach house until 4:00 p.m. so we headed to the beach to walk around. Goose immediately ran to hunt for shells. This was our children's first time ever seeing the ocean!! Crazy huh? There was a hurricane way out in the ocean so it was producing some HUGE waves as well as rip currents. Glad we weren't planning on swimming anyways that day. The ocean is beautiful and I think my children have fallen in love. Despite my efforts to keep the children dry, I think everyone of them got wet.
I still can't believe this was the first time your kids have seen the ocean!
