He Lives. Easter 2016

Easter is my favorite. I often reflect on the miracle of the empty tomb. I couldn't imagine burying a child or loved one and not having the knowledge that there is in fact life after death. I couldn't imagine going throughout this life not knowing who I am, where I came from and where do I go when I die. I find great comfort in knowing that my Savior Jesus Christ broke the bands of death. Because of Him my children will be reunited with their brother and I will see my son again. The knowledge I have that there is life after death gives me incredible joy and peace. One day I will be reunited with my son and that gives this mom incredible happiness and hope. I'm eternally grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ who makes this all possible. In the meantime, I will press forward with the knowledge that I have that families are forever all because of Him. Oh what joy that brings, to know that my Redeemer lives! Happy Easter!

Women's Conference 2016

Women's Conference with this 12 year old is my favorite. Although, she ditched me to sit with the other young women once we got there! :)
She took beautiful notes of the evening and is turning out to be quite amazing. I love you Bean and the young women you are becoming.I love that you desire to do good. I love that you are so excited about Personal Progress and actively working on it. You are a beautiful soul.

Spring Hike

Nothing like a muddy spring hike. Despite the mud, it felt so wonderful to be in the fresh air.

Handel's Messiah and Easter Egg Hunt

It was a beautiful weekend. On Friday Bean and I watched the Handel's Messiah live from Temple Square. It started at 9:30 pm and ended around 11:30 p.m. It was really long but an absolutely beautiful program. Bean kept coming in and out to watch it with me it was a lot to take in.
We always do our Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. This year we dyed eggs like usual for the Easter Bunny to hide however we had so many casualites and cracked eggs so we just made egg salad instead. The bunny ended up hiding plastic eggs and the littles had a great time finding them. Goose of course found the golden egg. He is amazing that way!
