Happy 12th birthday Bean!

For your 12th birthday it seemed like we celebrated for the whole week! For breakfast you requested Grandma Sugars thin pancakes and chocolate milk. For lunch I checked you out of school at 11:00 and we took the day off. It's good to do that once in a while. We headed to Panera for lunch with the two littles. After lunch we went to the salon and got your hair cut. For your birthday you only had a few requests, one of those being a birds nest cake. I'm no cake decorator that's for sure. So I went to Michaels and found a bird for a couple of bucks and stuck it on top of a basic cake mix cake. You LOVED it! You said, "Oh mom, can I please keep the bird!" It's all your's sweetheart! :)
When dad got home from work he gave you a beautiful bouquet of Lilies. He is always so thoughtful.
For dinner you requested cheese pizza. Done. Thanks Dad for picking it up at Little Caesars on your way home from the office.
After dinner we opened presents and sang happy birthday and had cake and ice-cream.
You really want to get to the temple, but unfortunately the temple was closed on your birthday for cleaning. We will be going really soon!
I think the highlight of your birthday was the letters you received from the special women in your life. I hope you always remember that you are a daughter of God and that He loves you and that you have a family who loves you dearly. Reading all the letters choked me up and I know that they made your day extra special. I am so excited for your future. It is bright! You are already so excited to start the Personal Progress Program in Young Women's. I look forward to helping you complete your goals. We love you Bean. Happy 12th Birthday!
